Default WCC Chrome wheel Exchange

I just ordered the chrome wheel exchange through West Coast Corvettes. For those of you that did the exchange, can you tell me how the barrel, insides of the wheels were finished. Polished alloy? chrome? etc.

I can say they are not chromed or even polished. To be honest with all the brake dust (Z51 brakes) and road grime who can see what they look like?

This is the best photo I have of mine, that I have available from work:

The best way I can describe mine is a coarsly brushed chrome.

I take mine off once and awhile to clean them. I'm sure the factory chrome wheels are the same.

I've got a long slim brush that I can slide between the spokes and even the rotors, clean 'em every time I wash it. They look brand new every day.

Apply a couple of good coats of wax to the inside of the wheels and finish up with a spray on polish. They will stay nice and clean and will wash/dust off easily.

You can find a suitable soft bristle long handle brush in the house ware section of most grocery stores. I also found one that will go between the wheel and the caliber. Good luck.

The brush I have will not scratch. It is a commode brush I believe, white bristles are about 14" long, is U shaped and is curved so I just straightened out. Probably got it Wal Mart. Might sound bad but really works great.

There are long brushes made for cleaning refrigerator coils....they work great to get in behind the brake calipers....try Lowes, Home Depot or even a supermarket.
