With the factory H pipe you will get "burble" on decelleration, as I do with my magnaflow mufflers and stock pipe, no headers. It doesn't bother me, but it might you. Kevin

I actually like the burble on decel,but haven't heard that on my stock system at all.The c6 system looks and sounds a little better than the c5 one,but It's not enough for me!!I'm starting to experiment for sound,beginning with a borla x-pipe i'm getting next week.Not looking for straight pipe loud,but I don't want CADDY QUIET either,like it is now!!Magnaflow's,that stainless system,and some other's i've heard on here are way to quiet to even consider wasting money on!!

And I love that burble.I did Borla & left the H pipe in because my next mod is headers. LG's come with an "X"Pipe.
The "X" is a better scavenger - 5 HP TOPS

Other than the opinions on sound;
The X pipe is supposed to scavenge the exhaust better than the stock H pipe, better use of the exhaust pulses to make the adjacent cylinders flow better.
I've never seen a Dyno sheet on H pipe versus X pipe but am willing to take the exhaust designers word on the better flow.
