How do you take the brake handle apart to install the boot
There's a screw/bolt under the boot on the passanger side of the ebrake.you'll need to remove the console door, which is easy,4 screws. Then the handle pulls off ,i believe, but I don't remember for sure. It's been a while since I put my boot on.
Did you send the original to him, core-charge thing? I was going to be his 'model', but the fact he's in Poland kinda put me off. I went with Ken, Vette Essentials, may he rest in peace.

Three-piece set
I got the three piece set from Redline
Shift boot - E-brake boot - console lid cover.
First, the red leather is very nice, but does NOT match Cobalt Red, it is a little brighter. But that is OK for the shift boot and E-brake boot.
Install of the shift boot was pretty easy, if you have a good stapler.
Install of the E-brake boot is trickier - you have to contact glue the new one onto the plastic frame.
The console lid cover was disappointing. It is not made to fit the cutout on the right front of the lid, and bags and sags at that location. I will probably ditch it and go with the Down South Vettes covered lid like FB3 has.
If I do, I will give away the Redline red console lid cover to the first person who PM's me, AFTER I announce that I have installed the DSV console lid.
I too purchased mine from Redline. I have the Cashmere interior and Maciek sent me some samples for comparison b/c he was not sure what would be the closest color match. None were a perfect match but I did not mind a subtle contrast and the price/quality combo can not be beat.
Hey CamaroCane, I am in the process of doing my e-brake also. Give liquid nails a try (got mine at Menards), that's what I'm using and it works great. You just have to make sure you get the one recommended for carpet, fabric, vinyl, etc. and don't rush it only doing small parts working slowly and you should be okay.

Hope this helps you out.
Which color did you go with to try and match cashmere? I was told siera was the closest match. Do you have any pics u can post?
Yeah, but is there a definitive procedure to do the e-brake? I don't want to screw anything up. Thanks!
No definitive process or procedure. Just separate the old boot from plastic retainer and test fit the new leather piece and slowly begin glueing it section by section. Just be careful, do not be in a rush to do it all at once. Do one section, let it dry overnight then do the next section, etc. It should take you 3 to five days this way but you will not mess up this way as far as getting excess glue all over and the like. I found that simply having patience with most projects is the easiest way to prevent messing things up.

Sorry, I forgot the exact color off the top of my head but I still have all samples out in the garage. There were two colors that I considered, one was lighter and one was a little darker.I went with the lighter color. I'll check it tomorrow evening and PM you with the info.
Also, no pics so far, sorry. I purchased a ZO6 shifter and also have a matching shift **** so I am waiting to install everything together I just have not had the chance to do it. Hopefully within the next week it will be done. I will send you some pics once it is just PM me your email address.
got the two tone right but the color is still wrong!!! the first was red. sent them a piece of the leather gm uses in he "matched" it but it looks way to dark in the car.....down south here i come! to save 40.00 i now waste 60.00! if you are just going black u will be fine and they got good stuff and service but if ur ar matching the stock stuff look out
