Transmission will not Shift into Park
Five hundred yards off the dealership with my new 07 C-6 I noticed that I could not shift into the position to use the paddle shift. I turned around and returned to the dealership and discovered I could not get the Thing in to Park. So here I am Sunday afternoon at home with a new 07 C-6 convertible in the shop anyone out there with similar problems or advise? CJZIDA

I had the same problem on my 06. They had to order a part and it was on B/O. Factory said they had never heard of the problem. They had the car 7 days. They finally took it off a new one on the lot. 175 miles at the time.

I've got a 06 coupe with 5000 miles, and while 300 miles away from home the shifter would only go into D or N. Dropped off at dealer in CA, they said the shift assembly was bad. Had to order part.
Drove back to Vegas in 07 Tahoe loaner, hopefully the part ordered willl show up in the next few days. I travel to CA often, so no worries about a return trip.
