What other mods do you have? That is about 75 rwhp over stock. I don't think it's possible to get that much power from just a tune and ported intake. To get that kind of power from an auto, you most likely need headers and a cam in addition to the ported intake and tune.

Excellent numbers... I guess you got the dyno tune done then?

Tell us more about the whole combination

I wouldn't believe 360 with just what you have listed for an A6.

I'm thinking you have a CAI and LT headers also. If not, then

Who cares what the after #s are, you can calibrate a slobalt to show 300 horses after a port and polish..... Its the comparison - before and after #s with no software adjustment. If it pulled 340 before and 410 after, well then, lets all get that tune.

That is so far out of line that it is unbelievable. Perhaps the dyno was out of calibration. I suggest you go to the track and see how fast the car is in the 1/4.

lol, I hope they are SAE corrected numbers and the shop didn't "tweak" the dyno.

HMMM... If anyone is using a shop like that, I have a great deal for them. Come over to my house, err... I mean dyno shop. I'll sit in it, free rev it to red line a couple times and break out the crayons and draw up a dyno sheet. Only cost 20 bucks. For another $10, I'll have my neighbor come over and stand behind the car and smell the exhaust and draw your A/F ratio.

I'm thinking this was a step in a mod process that was already underway.

Let's wait for him to answer before too many conclusions are jumped to or BS flags thrown.

I'll help MKS out...

A 5 minute search on past posts reveals that we're looking at results from the following mods at a minimum:

LPE CAI
LG Headers w/ offroad x pipe
a "baby" cam with springs
a ported and polished TB
a ported and polished LS2 Intake Manifold (that I had my way with )
and Tuning

I'd say the numbers are probably about right with this knowledge.

Kind of what I expected from my first posting, cam & headers. So what is the baby cam? I need to know.

Me too. I hope we're not getting back to the days of terminology like "3/4 race cam!"

MKS, very nice mods and great numbers out of an A6!! So we all have to know, which cam did you go with and how does it idle. I assume you had to go with something like a 220/.581/115 because you couldn't get a higher stall converter.
