Where should material be placed first? Where is it wasted? Main goal is over all quieter ride. If you have done this mod, Help please.
Thanks,

I did my doors (frame & removable panels) and my rear deck and waterfall. This was during the course of a stereo installation, so the whole interior was torn out anyway.
Doors make a big difference, and if you have an aftermarket exhaust, the rear deck will make a big difference also...
My plan is to use the dynapad under my Lloyde Mats. I have two boxes so that should be plenty. I have the 3 mat Lloyde set for the coupe. Just cut out the same size dynapad and place it under the mat. I will post my impressions after I do the work.
That along with the divider type box for the coupe and the abs of steel should keep my sports quiet on a trip. But if I go to the track I can take them out.
I just did. Huge difference on the freeway. And now I have 4 spare tires I guess it depends on how you use your car. I wanted a quiet fast car that handles like a go cart. A luxury sports car. I have a very loud motorcycle that I ride when I'm in the mood. I like having a choice.
BTW, these stock C6s get pretty loud above 4500 rpms. Leave it in second gear and run a canyon road. With the top off (Coupe) and windows down you can really hear it echo off the canyon walls. Great throttle response too! Sounds great to me. Loud all the time gets old. Been there, done that. Just My opinion. Try everything in your life and see what you like. Gonna croak anyway, so live it up while you can.
