Default adjust cluch pedal

is there a way to adjust the cluch pedal on a 02 z it catches right at the verry end of the throw ,, the dealer says no but i cant believe the isnt a way.......

Yes, the LS6 clutch can have the engagement point adjusted. The procedure is in the service manual. I'd look it up for you but sold the manuals when I sold the 02Z.

I had my installer make the adjustment when he installed a fresh clutch in my 2002 Z06. Wanted to ensure the engagement point was near the top, e.g. pedal nearly all the way out. A low engagement point leads to missed shifts.

This subject comes up from time to time. At least one member has insisted that the adjustment would be done through the inspection cover.

You need a Mcleod Adjustable Master. It's a good upgrade from the stock one and will support a heavier clutch in the future if you decide to upgrade.
