I am interested in hearing from some of you guys who have put a supercharger or turbo setup on your high compression LS2 motor. Have any of you damaged your stock motors with any of these setups?

Have the Procharger D1SC on my LS2 that already had heads, cam, headers and exhaust. Not a thing harmed on the block other than a little increase in the rwhp and rwtq = 586/506
How long have you guys been running the superchargers? How many miles? How much boost? Have you guys been running them at the track at all? Sorry about all the questions, I have just been told that with the high compression of the motor it is risky to boost the LS2.

Lots of good info in the C6 F.I./N20 section...

The high compression of the LS2, or any motor for that matter, does not prevent it from being able to run on boost. It just limits the amount of boost that can be ran in regards to the motor's breathing/flow capabilities and available octane. While their are limits to the strength of all componenets of an engine, stock or built. It's the tune that will ultimately determine how the engine will last. Even motors built for boost can pop with a bad tune.
