I have a "maggie" which is about 2 months old,but wanted to know if you'all new whay could be causung this!
I going to call Magnuson monday morning!
If you want to see the smoke,go to the c6 general sec. title{1badasvt's

glennhl, just checked my coolant level, and it's just fine!
I hope it's nothing serious!!
Also,I'm not a "car" expert, but does this sound like something the installer{Magnuson} should take care of?

I doubt if the installer could be blamed unless he did heads at the same time that he did your blower. Keep checking your water level, it may be a slow leak. Does it only smoke on start up? Have someone follow you and check while you are driving. Good luck!

It mainly smokes alot at start up,but I think it does smoke a little while driving! I'll have to have someone follow me,but why would this happen on a "new" set-up?

I'm pretty sure it's 6 lbs!
The thing is,it was installed by Magnuson themselves!
Also,I don't step on the car at all!
I guess I'll have to wait till monday. You guys are so kind to respond.
By the way, your vette looks NAAASTY COOL!!!!!!!!

I hate to hear you're having problems. It certainly sounds like a head gasket, but 6 lb boost should'nt cause that. Could be you had improper head torque or weak gasket from factory and the boost pointed it out. Your tuner will probably say it's not an issue for them. I'd say GM will probably end up repairing under warranty if the tuner won't. Life sucks sometimes. Good luck with it. BTW-Smoke is coming out of one side only?
Just to be safe... Don't forget to check the bottom side of yor oil fill cap for signs of coolant leaking into the oil. If it is a head gasket, coolant can also be leaking into your oil.
Hopefully Magnuson will take care of you. Hate to hear about the issues. My Maggie setup is to be finished this week, so I wait with interest to hear what the cause was.

Lets look at this problem as the glass being half full.
If the car is used for short trips, there is a chance that it is water condensation in the exhaust just buring off.
My nephew had the same problem on his car and I thought he had over reved the engine and damaged the valve guide seals. It turned out to be bad O2 sensors which was allowing excessive amounts of fuel on start up. Good Luck!
