Are People Changing Stock Linkage- Or Is The C6 Adequate And If Not What Is Considered The Best- Bm, Hurst, Or Caaloway
The "linkage" does not change (that is, the rod that goes from the bottom of the shifter, to the attachment point on the front of the tranny).
Most people comment that they like the Calloway the best (since it costs up to 2X as much as other shifters, I hope it IS in someway better). I personally couldn't bring myself to spend that kind of $$ on a shifter, so I went with the B&M. All "short shifters" will radically improve the amount of "throw" required to make the shift (over the stock shifter, which shifts like an F-150).
