Default Adding Headers w/ stock exhaust system

Has any added headers to the stock exhaust system?
Any problems interfacing them?
What brand did you use?
How did it sound?
I was really set on the B&B Bullets, but I've been reading that they get really loud once you install headers. Not looking to be that loud, but I do want to hear some of that 6.0L 400HP motor. What the heck is Chevy thinking?

I had a cam, headers intake, etc...with the stock exhaust. They bolt up just fine. The stock exhaust will wake up a bit with headers and other mods

I had Kooks, but they all will fit.

Thanks!
How much did the Kooks cost you?
How much should I expect to pay for labor?
Do I need to re-tune after installation?

I am getting ready to order the LG Long Tube Headers from LG MotorSports. I took the factory exhaust off and installed the Borla Touring cat back system. Zero drone. I talked to Lou and Anthony with LG MotorSports and they recommend this combo. Give them a call.

$1,300 no cats. Wait for a group purchase to buy them

Do it yourself in a few hours. A shop should not take more than 2-2.5hours. I did mine in about 2 hours on the garage floor.

Need? No
If you plan on doing other mods it can wait, if it's your last mod than do it.

I think headers with the factory cat-back would sound SWEET!

It sounds pretty good. Definitely the "quietest" setup you could do. If you want flow without making the car too much louder, I usually recommend the Magnaflow system. It's quiet with an aggressive growl. But no loud interior resonance..

American Racing or Kooks headers will be a good choice.

I didn't want more noise, just some rumble. Had stainlessworks headers, random tech HF cats put on and left the stock exhaust. Probably only 10% louder at idle, but a bit more bass sounding, slight bit of pop & burble at decel that wasn't there before. Probably 20-30% louder at WOT. Car turns heads in the high RPM range!

How many would be interested? I could try to get something worked up if there's enough potential buyers.
