Default Console heat ?

How come the drivers side of the console seems to get much hotter than the passgenger side? I haven't had a chance to look under the car.

Just curious.

Probably your imagination....the torque tube runs thru the tunnel under the console & the legs of the H-pipe run beneath the chassis plate, equidistant to the centerline.....

We've noticed this phenomenon too, but there's no obvious reason why it should be the case from looking under the car. The underside mounting of the exhaust is symmetric.
