I was just wondering what do stock A6's dyno at? Also at what mileage do you get the highest HP and TQ numbers? Please only post results if your car was bone stock and is an A6. THANKS

Well the transmission tuning/shift points/firmness etc wouldn't really affect the dyno numbers anyway though.
Also remember that the A6 has no true 1:1 trans ratio so could every please state whether their cars were dyno'd in 3rd or 4th gear?
3rd gear stk 328/341 a6. waiting for HP program to come out(any day now) and will dynotune then. Added CAI. You're right about the tranny not affecting the dyno numbers. More impact though on TM reduction.
Not sure what gear I was in. I think 4th, but I will ask them next time we talk.
I wish mine would have dynoed in the 340's stock. I have always felt mine was low at 314 RWHP, maybe it was because it only had 500 miles, but it still seems low to me. I drag race though and my trap speeds were around 105-107 so I think the dyno was fairly close.
I now have headers and CAI and it is 361 RWHP. I trapped 114.5 mph last Wednesday.
So does putting an A6 in 4th as opposed to third make it dyno less or more??
Maybe that was my problem.
I'm betting you dynoed on a hot day. Look at the graph, is there a dip around 3000 to 4000 rpm. I ran back to back pulls and went from 334 down to 316 on the second run. You could see a dip at 3200 rpm where I am guessing (since I didn't have any tuning software) that the ECM pulled timing.
I made 359, then 360 after doing LG Long Tubes and a 160 thermostat. I think the 160 thermostat kept the coolant cool enough that the ECM did not pull timing on the second run.
It was very hot that day, but it was SAE corrected but I realize what you are telling me. I wish I would have been there to watch the process. I saw it on the dyno later but they were just working on the tune.
I now have a 160 Tstat also. Well it runs great at the track now so I am not so worried about it anymore.

Yes, the correction does account for the hot day, but as you know, it doesn't account for the ECM pulling timing. I bet you that's what happened the day you only made 314. Plus your 361 after headers and the 160 is consistent with what I got.
337 in 4th, 329 in 3rd, on a Mustang dyno. The 4th gear pull was done immediately after the 3rd gear pull, w/ no cool down. Thy dyno graph is much more ragged looking, so I suspect some timing was being pulled.
3rd gear pull is actually more accurate, as at the track you won't spend any time at all in 4th.
