Default Those w/ FAST Intake...411 needed.

I am thinking about getting the FAST Intake and want to know from those with this mod installed, was it worth it?
I have LT 1.75" headers, X-pipe, Borla Stinger catback, 4.10 gears & Hurricane CAI.
I need a tune and my tuner suggested I use the Fast Intake and he will polish my throttle body to get the grit and junk off of it and smooth it out. I know the tune is much needed but I want to know if the FAST is worth it. Any assistance will be much appreciated.

We run the FAST on forced induction applications and cars with healthy cams.

I'm having a H/C swap done today and i'm sticking with the LS2 intake. A few horsepower isn't worth the money to me for the fast

Its 20 over and over on modded cars not a few. I've seen as much as 27rwhp. 12rwhp is average on the stock car.

I am happy with mine and I would do it again. I didn't bother with a dyno and I also had a tune down at the same time so I can't give you a pure answer but the FAST/tune together were the biggest single boost I've had, by a good margin. I had headers, high-flow cats, an X-pipe and cat backs installed at one session. This provided a SOTP noticeable/significant increase in acceleration. I had Crane 1.8's and supporting components installed in a different session. This provided a SOTP noticeable/significant increase in acceleration. Next, I had a Callaway Honker installed in a different session. This provided a SOTP noticeable/significant increase in acceleration. None of these things was a home run like a cam or a gear but I noticed each one, within the limits of human error. The FAST/tune provided the biggest single boost of all, too big to be from the tune alone. Both the Honker and the FAST (each) slightly altered the sound of the engine. I can hear a little more up front now and it is a smoother sound. That is surely more than you wanted to know and not very scientific. It is also free of charge. Have fun with your Vette!

You guys kill me, here I go again spending $$$ on mods. I can blame the mod carzy guys on this forum for all the dollars spent.

Thanks for the great write up. I will be joining the many satisfied FAST Intake owners here in the next week. I hope my tune will be just as satisfying.

It felt like adding headers all over again for me.... I have a head and baby cam C6 and it is like night and day... I was able to pull a C6 Z06 from a roll... I know it wiouldn't have turned out that way without the FAST...

If you want to see the races look at my myspace page in my signature.. I also have a few pics of it on my car...

I thought I was going to keep this thing stock until I started getting ideas here on the forum and started going crazy!!!

I can't tell from your avatar if you have body color door handles and spoiler or not, but if you don't and you want to add them to your mod list, I've got a set of DSOM door handles and a DSOM spoiler (regular C6, and all GM products). Let me know if you'd like them and we'll work out a good deal!!!
