Default Tunning/ PSI / Active Handling ?

Can a tune cancel the ability of the computer to stop manual use of active handling and traction control? Can a tune stop the "Limp" mode if the computer see 0 PSI or no tire sensors?

I'm not sure, but to my knowledge - NO!

I believe the Tire Pressure Monitor System is actually run by the Remote Control Door Lock Receiver and the Body Control Module, and I haven't heard of anybody that has been able to "tune out" the TPMS.

If you're gonna run your car as a track-only race car, you could rip all that junk out of it like Lou G has done. Forum member AZ FASTEST still runs sensors in his Goodyear slicks. Click below to see a thread about that:

Sensors in Goodyear Slicks

Here's another thread about runnin' without sensors:

To sensor or not to sensor

Some guys have problems when trying to run withouth sensors, some don't!

I've been wanting to ask this as well regarding AH/TC on the C6. Can the tire stagger be set in the computer with a tune? Or does stagger even really matter?

I have read posts with people saying the OEM F-R stagger MUST be maintained and others running the same size tires F & R (say 315/35/17s or 18s) -- but possibly only with AH/TC off.

So ... what's the deal? Does the AH system have the ability to "learn" the new tire sizes (comparatively if not actual) and adjust over time to allow it to work correctly?

Or can it be a tuning change -- by inputting new diameters somehow?

I would like to have AH/TC available but prefer to not be limited in tire choice to OEM sizes as even 17" rims fit F & R on all four corners of a C6 without Z51 brakes.
