Default Another 400rwhp A6 C6

All i can say is WOW. What a difference. I thought she was a beast bone stock but now it's 10X's better. Above 4000rpm she just scream's.

Mods :

Trickflow heads
Custom 212/232 114LSA cam
Kooks LT's
3" X pipe
Borla Touring exhaust
Vararam

End result was 429rwhp and 401rwtq. Not a bad way to spend 6 grand.

Nice results!

I haven't seen anyone running the Trickflows yet... how do you like them? Why did you choose them?

Anything is better then the stock cam. There's lots of good blower cams out there. My cams a baby tho. Could have made some major power but i didn't want to lose driveability

Congrats! I would guess with that cam there's only a little lope and the drivability is great?

I knew people were going to give me **** about my cam specs.

The cam is pretty much very close to stock except a major increase on the top end.

Guess you knew some would, I wasn't trying to, though in retrospect I can see how you might think I was. I'm trying to learn peoples impressions and opinions about the different cams, and your top end comment helps!

I didn't mean you star and i hope you didn't get offended.

I'm the kind of guy who likes a cam but wants to keep it stealthy. That's exactly what i got with my custom grind. The top end is sick compared to stock.

Stock converter but i do plan on going to a 3200 once the programming is available for the A6. Low end power is unchanged.

Sounds smart to me. Stock type cam unless you're really into it.

I have to admit, that is one strange looking split duration, especially for a car with LT headers!

Whatever floats your boat.......

Oh ok, I just didnt know who CNC'd them. Did you get a flow sheet with them? If so, what were some of the flow numbers. I am curious becuse I just got my set last week and wanted to compare numbers.
