Split Cam ?
I have seen the X1 cam from MTI and they call it split cam...i can see why by looking at the specs but what does that do for the engine...why would you want that?

It's called a "Reverse Split" camshaft. It's when the intake duration is more then the exhaust duration. Reverse split cams are used when the intake needs help keeping up with the exhaust.
