Default B&B Long tube headers....

Anyone know if these are any good?

They state that there is an increase in HP and torque through the entire RPM range.

Any truth to that? How much will you get out of it?

Where can I get Kooks?

Their website blows. I can't find any info on anything.

And what is the difference between, 1-3/4X3 and 1-7/8X3.
Thanks

Look at any west coast tuner. I LOVE tom byrne but they're on the east coast and they'll take a week to get to you.

The 1 7/8ths is what i run on my C6 and they're awesome. They're just larger primary's.

Try these guys

Found this:

"Note: 1 3/4" primaries are designed for stock or lightly modified Corvettes with air intake systems and etc. 1 7/8" primaries are designed for Corvettes with aftermarket camshaft, heads and or major modifications."

All I have is the Bullet PRT and the Vararam(soon).

Found the 1 7/8"'s for $899. Good Price?

LAPD only shows C5 stuff. I'll have them install, unless they can sell the headers for cheaper.

Lex,

It doesn't matter. There are tons of guys on this board who run the 1 7/8th with stock heads and cam without a problem. Give LAPD a call on monday and they will help you

How much louder?
I already have the bullets on. Not that LEO has taken too much notice.
Knock on wood.

lexaudio,

Email me for added info. We recommend going with Kooks 1 3/4" long tubes with high flow cats. Your car will be much louder than it is now, so you may have to swap out your rear section to one that is a bit more tame.

Email me at: Sales@TheLAPD.com and we will take care of you.

Thanks!
