Default CAI/Tune..........nice difference!

I finally went out after a lot of procrastination and had a Calloway Honker installed and then had them do a tune. Regardless of the numbers, the SOTP feeling is worth every penny. The biggest change that I notice is in throttle response. It is quick and right there! I had a C5 and it always felt quicker. Not stronger but snappier. Now my C6 feels as quick and snappy as my old C5 but a lot stronger.

It was definitely money well spent. Thanks to all of the people on this forum who recommended doing this. I probably would have only put on the CAI with no tune and I believe that most if not all of the SOTP gains came from the tune although the Honker does sound kind of cool when it sucks in the air.

Did you install the Honker, or did you have them do it? If you did it, how involved was it? I'm thinking of doing the same as soon as I find a good tuner in my area. What software did they use?

I had them install the Honker. They said it was a little involved. Cutting the shroud and attaching all of the fasteners. But they did a nice clean job and the Honker looks great.
As for the software they used, I am sorry I don't know which one but the person who did the tune came highly regarded out here in the Bay Area.

I am still learning also and the only way to get an answer is to ask the question. CAI stands for Cold Air Intake.

I'm a bay area guy. Guessing you went to Synergy or Northstar. Either of those ring a bell?

I went to Synergy. Rick is outstanding. Answered all of my questions and explains things in simple terms so someone like myself can somewhat understand.
