I am getting a powder coated set of Z51 brake calipers put on my car this week and was wondering what a reasonable price for taking off the old ones and installing the new ones would be to get this done! Also about how long does it take?

Thanks,

I would guess it would take ~1.5 hours, maybe 2 on the outside. It sounds simple enough but it must be done right including bleeding the system after the install.
When mine was done, I had a local guy down the street do it.
Well, needless to say, it took 4 days and it was done wrong.
The brake lines had air in them and I had to nearly push the pedal to the floor to stop.
The guy said it would clear up in a few days. BS.
Luckly, through this forum, someone PM'ed me with their phone #.
I called him and he said, "Don't drive the car unless you are taking it to the dealership to have them rebleed the brakes. They know how to do it and can do it in a few hours."
When I got there, their eyes went wide. I had to pay another $200 bucks. the local guy said he'd take care of me later. Right. Like I am going to bring it back there after he put me on the street with almost no brakes.
Take it to the dealer or someone who deals with Corvettes. Like here in LA, Los Angeles Performance Division is my Vette caretakers.
They will do all my Vette mod's/upgrade even oil changes.
Find one in your area.
Go to the regional section of the forum and ask for a local shop that people have experience with. Changing brakes calipers should be a very simple task for a repair garage that works on any type of car. I put ceramic pads and rotors on in less than an hour in my garage on Staurday. Granted, bleeding the brakes takes time, but should not take an additional hour.
