A good friend is contemplating aftermarket air intake upgrades for his C6. He just completed exhaust upgrade (X-pipe and Corsa's) I'm sure there have been posts and varied opinons but would apprciate the current thinking on everything from cold air induction to MAF sensors, etc. Is anybody aware of a fuel pressure regulator? Thanks
For most street-driven cars, there is little or no need for an aftermarket MAF or upgraded fuel pump. Lots of guys do see gains from ported throttle bodies and/or intake manifolds, and underdrive pulleys. Such mods are often referred to as boltons.
Best way to get your friend informed as to the world of mods is to have him join the Forum.
I used to be a Vararam until I tried my first Callaway, and after that, I've never turned back. I've seen more power results with Callaway over everything else on the market. So it's my choice, but everyone has their bias.

When I see better numbers than my Lingenfelter I will believe it but so far........................
One really good thing about this intake is how it relocates the IAT sensor in the MAF away from the radiator. Even though its only a few inches, it matters.
