Being that all the induction makers came out with specific C6 systems (and that took a little while), it would seem to me that there must be enough differences to require quite a bit of work to fit a C5 system onto a C6.

I'm amazed at the cost increase for the various C6 air intakes over similar C5 systems that look basically the same and are made of the same materials. Are there design differences to take into account? Yes, but not (IMHO) enough to justify the marked increase in cost to the C6 customer. Especially since the stock C6 system is fairly well designed compared to the stock C5 system and the aftermarket intakes are not adding that much HP in comparison to their C5 counterparts.
