Just got this yesterday from another forum member. I am impressed with the workmanship, all the ports are nice and smooth. It may be a while before I get it installed, but will post dyno numbers when I do.
I got mine off of the C6 Parts for Sale forum, just by keeping my eyes open. CHarissvette (Cory) posts on here quite often. Do a search on his username and then PM him. Jeremy works for one of our supporting vendors, I believe. I'm sure if you do a search on Jeremy Formato, you will be able to find him.
hogging out the ports doesn't really mean it is the best for max hp/tq. it really depends on the how extensive your mods are / demand for air. mainly it is the air velocity that you need to be concern about. if you make the port too big and it slows down the air velocity then (stock intake) you will likely see lost of hp/tq instead of gain.
Can't disagree with your general statement, but I would not characterize these mods as "hogging out the ports". Real world results are what count, and both Cory's and Jeremy's ported intakes have shown impressive TQ gains on the dyno.
I've got a Cory ported intake too and I'm sure it has something to do with my 424 RWHP number. The ports aren't hogged out so much, they are moved forward or back depending on which port you look at. I compared Cory's to my stock one when both were off. Looks like a good gasket match port job to me, I'm used to the old school stuff.
But this intake sure is a lot easier to install than the old ones! Just a few minutes. I did a how to post with tips and pics a while back if anyone is interested to search for it.
I have seen some results posed from Jeremy's porting, unfortunatley, in all of the results I've read about, he dyno's the car, then removes the intake, ports it, installs it, and does another dyno pull. That is over an hour of cool down time, that much cool down time alone is worth 5-15 HP. While I'm not stating the results are wrong or his porting is not as good as any one the others, I think some of his results posted may be under optimal conditions.
I had mine ported, performed the intake swap in 14 minutes while on the dyno, and made another pull while the temps were still up. I had great results! Thanks Cory!

hitman, i never stated jeremy's work was "hogging out the ports." i was only referring to 99 torch statement "he does alot more work to his intakes", if that means he would prefer someone just "hooging out the ports" he might not get the result that he hopes for.

I guess I can live with being called a "Port Hog"... but I'd prefer both words receive capital letters

I have a ported formato intake and with my Thunder Racing(TRak Cam) Cam only C6 I am pushing 450rwhp. Jeremy does good work. Why not install the intake yourself, takes less than 1 hour. Took me less time than that by myself.
