GM aggressive exhaust installed!
I installed the GM aggressive exhaust on my LMB Z51 vert in my garage by myself yesterday. It was simple! The stock exhaust was out in 15 minutes and the new exhaust was installed in under an hour (and that was because I cleaned the undercarriage at the same time). The fit was great; much better fit than the B&B I installed on my '94.
As far as the sound, it is awesome. Perfect low muscle rumble without any high pitched tin sound. There is no question this is the sound I wanted. If anyone says this exhaust is too loud, then the only thing I can say to them is you are too old. At idle and at cruise, it is just noticeable. Rev the RPMs up and you know you have an aftermarket exhaust. I cannot imagine the touring exhaust, it must be no louder than the stock exhaust because the aggressive is not much louder than stock. If you really want to hear loud, then listen to my '72 with Flowmaster 40 series mufflers. Now that is LOUD!
I read that the exhaust had some "drone" between 1300 and 1600 RPMs.
As far as the tip having clamps that look tacky, well I placed the bolt on the bottom. The car sits so low that the clamp and bolt are not noticed. I guess if that still does not work then weld them on.
So I am very pleased and think they are perrrrrfect!

My clamps are at an angle? How did you clamp them down so that the bulky piece is not showing? Do you have a photo you can post of your clamps? I may need to have mine adjusted.
BTW here are few video clips of the Off Road exhaust on my car.

While I agree with the awesome sound, I disagree about the drone. I definitely get an annoying vibration right from about 1550 - 1700 rpms that I find I have to get through quickly. Worse, on the highway when at about 70-75 mph in 6th, it just hurts. I have to either speed up, slow down, or shift to 5th. Just my experience.
I could be wrong; that was just what I heard.
Either way, I'm glad you're happy with it, and all things considered, I too love my Borlas.

So you are happy with the GM system and you find no drone on the touring system?
