A supercharger will absorb some of a cams driveability. It mostly depends on how much you're trying to accomplish. You'll definitely pick up a lot of power though. At least 50-75 rwhp. If you want help designing/picking the right one, give me a call. I'll help you out...
Anybody with a magnacharger have a cam also?
If so,how do you like it,and how's the drivability!
Thanks,George
You need to get in touch with forum member NineBall. He has a maggie with a cam, and has had some awesome results. His car is absolutely gorgeous to boot too!
I have a 230/230 114 cam that I spec'd myself using Comp Cams lobes. Drivability is just fine, and it has a nice mild lope to it. It was probably worth an easy 40-50 rwhp most likely.
My current shift points are 7,000 rpm with this cam, pulls great with the Magna.
