I'm installing the Corsa Sport cat-back exhaust system for the paddle-shift transmission. The instructions give torque specs for all the supplied clamps but not for the flanges on the front of the new H-pipe. It just states "torque to manufacturer's specifications."
What is the proper torque for the flange nuts? I do not find these listed in the torque specs posted in the FAQ section.
[QUOTE=Vette-Pilot]Is this what you are looking for?
Yep, exactly...thanks Vette-Pilot. I didn't know anyone else was awake this late.
Looks like I probably over-tightened them...as I suspected because they look like they were deforming a bit. Hope I didn't hurt anything. I'll loosen them up and re-torque tomorrow.
A word of caution, after three removals (first time to install my B&B Rte 66 exhaust, then I removed the Rte 66 and installed the B&B Bullets, then I removed the B&B Bullets to reinstall the Rte 66) I broke two of the bolts on the last removal. Seems they are designed for no more than two installs/removals.

New studs and jam nuts cost me close to $40.
Good luck
Tom
Thanks for the warning.
I checked the torque after getting Vette-Pilot's info. and found they were pretty darn close. I had tighted them until I could just see the flanges starting to deform and then backed them off a bit. Maybe this is how they determined the torque spec in the first place.
Everything is good now and I'm happy with the exhaust...so shouldn't be removing it again anytime soon.
