Default Tire balancing solution

If you have problems balancing any of your tires, I bet this will solve your problem.

I recently bought a full set of PS2's from Tires Rack and had them shipped to my installer. Unfortunately, after two attemps my installer wasn't able to properly balance the fronts. The steering wheel wobbled at 50 and even more at 70 mph. This was never going to work at 187 so I gave up on him.

I called Tire Rack and they instructed me to find a shop that has a Hunter 9700 balancing system. You can find this by going to Hunter.Com.

This system has a roller that loads the tire (up to 1,400 lb) while it is being balanced and therefore replicates the forces that act on the tire/wheel assembly when driving.

I haven't had a chance to track these tires since the Hunter balance but they are perfect up to 80 mph now. This Hunter system works.

Check your local Discount Tire, the one closest to me has two of the Roadforce Balancers. A little more expensive and time consuming but an excellent balance.

Been there, done that x2. The 9700 ROCKS! I had the C6 done a couple of weeks ago and it knocked weight off of each wheel. Left rear was really out of whack and had to be broken down and shifted on the wheel to make it work right.

Or, you could replace the tires with tires that have less radial force variation.
