I installed a Nitrous Express (NX) wet system on my '97 C5 a few years back. The install was neat and didn't take very long. I first ran it with a 100 shot and it was okay; then I switched to a 150hp shot and WOW!
I would put 4+ car lengths on a Viper before shifting to 3rd gear. It really came alive with the 150 shot. The NX was very reliable and I never had any problems with it. It's definitely the cheapest bang for the buck there is and, if installed properly and used juridiously, it will not hurt the engine. Go for it
