Hard wire a V1

there are alot of threads on this.
there is an invisicord that lets you hardwire it to the powered mirror.
Or even cheaper, you can just buy some parts from radio shack. thats what i did and it has worked very well.

do a search - i would, but i dont have time.

just finished wiring mine to the rear view mirror! came out great!! turns on with the car, and turns off with the car!!

Did mine with this wire to the mirror about a year ago. It works great, on and off with the switch. Do a quick search of the forum and you're sure to find the name "Intellicord". (about $15 for a small piece of wire with ends, but well worth it). When I turned the mirror to get at the back and it came off in my hand, but after hooking the wire as per instructions it twisted right back on. One quick note.....you may want to get a wire that is the next longer size than listed for your application just for a little slack to work with. Simple 5 minute install.

Got it,thanks for the info,it was the pink wire for the hot and lower black for ground

Check out this thread - it's for a Valentine hardwired with a remote display. I did a similar install in my C6 vert and love it! Not at all hard to do. Also bought the Invisicord and put it in my Denali and leave the suction cup mount there and use the Great Lakes visor mount in the C6.
