Vararam won't give you much on the dyno, but real world results are incredible. Do a search and you'll see cars run half a second faster in the 1/4 mile
But I like the Vararam the best, I feel that it provides the best track results/performance gains. If I get anything at all it will be that one.
Not hating, but you seriously saw actual track performance gains anywhere? I like that it replaces all the duct work and gets rid of the accordian coupler as does the Lingenfelter.

The Vararam doesn't get rid of the accordion coupler when installed? If it does.....I put mine on wrong!

I saw one that Corvettes of Westchester put on a customer's car and it had all of those parts replaced. It is possible that it wasnt included in which case I think it has a high price.
A & A did side by side on dyno with no difference between them. Ram air at speeds we realize is questionable if anything it will screw up fuel trims and then what do you do with tail wind
can anyone give me input on what type of aftermarket airbox is the best for performance on a c-6
VARARAM! all the way! I have tested them side by side...NO dyno results because a VARARAM! was never intended to run on the dyno...but, From an airflow standpoint (tracked by my tuning software) You CAN NOT do better......
I'm not saying this just because I sell it....THAT'S WHY I SELL IT!

and more to the point Andy dyno'ed the car with NO AIR FILTER and saw no HP gain. The stocker is efficient and you can only hope for colder air so the dayum computer doesnt pull timing due to a heat soaked intake air temperature sensor and possibly for forced air at high speeds. I disagree with fuel trims being thrown off since the MAF measures the increased air for exaclty this reason.
Vararam does make mighty claims about power and track results but I would reserve judgement on independant owners taking their cars to the track as many do, and confirming this. There are many guys that are in the know and track their cars regularly.
