Z's are running 11.3s at 126+ stock...so, sounds probably like a good race

Well true, but not ALL of them are LOL...but that's the key, if the Z06 guy can drive then it could be a good race but if he's bad or even average then you should be able to win.

I saw several run 12.5....or worse....bad drivers I saw another run 11.5 with drag radials. Not sure about mph, I was just watching ET's

Maybe 1% of Zs are hitting these times. Magazines have them between 11.7 and 12.2 in the quarter

You would need staged nitrous with a window switch, + sticky tires like Nitto R2 to make this work. With that, the C6 would win easily. After all, you are making at least 475 RWHP vs 445 and you have better gearing. No contest.

Yes, should trap somewhere between 122mph and 127mph depending on tires/traction and provided all the juice gets where it's going.

no question, a point and shoot auto would be much easier to drive fast from a dig for the average mortal (of course, not all are average). But once you're rolling, and that Z loses alot of the tourque management at higher speeds like third gear, it's a rolling monster with little to do but mash the gas. That car pulls freakishly strong past 90 and I don't really see where driver ability would make a difference at that point.

If the Z06 is stock you will have about the same HP but a few more pounds. If the Z06 has headers and a tune you will be down on HP and heavier. Z06 rubber is wider with better grip.

I would say the Z06 wins with equal drivers.
