Default FOB Frequency

A fellow forum poster says his FOB is setting off the EAS (tagging) alarms in retail stores - - -I'm surprised that the two would be on similar frequencies.

Can anyone post the frequency range used by GM for our FOBS ?

Car to fob, 125 kHz. Fob to car, 315 MHz.

Thanks Shopdog, I'm gonna 'ping' the EAS engineers and see what I can learn . . .

Appreciate your help.

I've been through hundreds of these EAS alarms with my Fob and have never set one off.

I know there are several types of EAS that operate on different magnetic and rf signals, but a quick internet search doesn't indicate that any of them operate on the same frequencies as the Fob.
