I was thinking of getting a magnacharger blower for my c6 m6 My question is do i need to spend the money on a intercooler if i really don't need one? or What real horsepower gain do you get out of a intercooler or without?
Intercooler is not an option for the C6 maggie, it comes with it - like it or not.
The biggest problem with roots-type blowers (or any FI system for that matter) is the amount of heat they generate/add to the intake air temps. Intercoolers are the most effective way to reduce these effects.

Thanks for your help!
power...
don't forget about the rest of the system. you're need to build out the rest of the system (read exhaust) to maximize your output potential.
What Is A Better Blower The Magnuson Intercooled Or The Procharger Intercooled?
Oh no!!!!!!! Not THAT question!!!! Please take it back!
This one always has alot of debate. I'll try to give you the simple reply. It depends on what your looking for. The Magnuson produces more power under the curve than the Procharger so your going to feel that during your normal day to day driving. You won't have to get to far into the RPM range. The ProCharger's boost can be felt from the mid-range to redline. This one can make more peak horsepower which is good for cars that spend alot of time in the RPM range.
You won't go wrong either one. I've used Magnuson, ATI, Vortech and STS on my own vehicles over the years. I chose the Magnuson for my C6 because I like the low end boost (pun intended ).
