Only credit you got is at the "adult" store when you returned the inflatable goat cause it didn't have enough orifaces.

The goat wasn't mentioned when I spoke with Spin about coming out to CA and tuning my car.

At least it's inflatable, so I can hide it from my wife!

At least in the GM world we can argue about tuning with the MAF or turning with the MAF off to perfect the VE tables.....My 'other' car, a SRT8, comes from Dodge with only Speed Density and a rediculous tune(11.3 : 1 or even richer in WOT)......Man, how I wish somebody could tune it. Thank goodness GM makes the coolest 2 seater(such that I can afford ).

The car should be tuned for either SD or MAF, bottom line on both tunes... VE table should get tuned followed by the MAF recalibration if its a MAF car. Every car I tune we set base parameters, tune VE watching A/F and Knock(removing knock spots) Once the VE is dead on, turn the MAF on and tune the MAF.

i hope it doesn't sound like i'm flip-floping, cause i aint, but this is what i had tried to state a few posts ago, except i don't have access to the 'tuning' tools.

tune it for max. perf. without the sensors, add the sensors back, tune the sensors to compliment the tune.

paint it with the tune, wax it with the sensors.

I'm not an "expert" but I do read a lot and I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express once or twice

I found this on LS1 Tech and it may answer some questions...

Fact is: (proven test on the dyno)
Naturally Aspirated the car will make the same power if it was tuned CORRECTLY with the MAF or SD tuned.

on a dyno being the key phrase. I do nto disagree. But, drive the SD car everyday through changing atmospheric conditions and tell me it will run better than a MAF car.
