I think you know the answer to your question. You aren't going to hook without serious tires. Tubs and a solid rear would do it.

But, to answer the question, I'm going to run Z06 rear fenders and probably a 335 tire. Without serious mods to the rear what else can you do? Fenders are relatively cheap, have your wheels widened. But, 20s are not helping with the smaller sidewall. I'm not going to run bigger than 19.

I dont know if you guys have looked for tires to fit the Z rims. because it is a short list,of tires that fit the front rims and the back .I know michlens are 345s and good years are 325s both have the 275 /35/18 you need for front you may be better off with 20s.I have a Z and will need tires soon and have thought about going with 20s myself but thers not much there either i think you need 19s infront.

You need a wider wheel on the rear and lose the 20's( only good for looks not performance) and go with 19's, you will have better tire selection. if you want that thing to have any chance of hooking up you need a 19x12 Z06 wheel or CCW even has a 19x13 wheel that fits C6's no problem as long as you have the Z06 quarters. You need as much tire as your can get and the ticket would be the 345 michelin pilot sport non runflatt. Look at anybody on the forum who has forced induction or a Z06 with power and check out what they are running, they are all running the 345 pilot sports.
