Default Headers

I was looking to put headers on, but do not want to cut up my MagnaFlow cat back system. I was looking at Billy Boat headers and they appear to bolt up to the stock exhaust, if you don't put cats on.

Has anyone installed B & B headers and if so, what is your experience.

Thanks!

timd38 -

If you do long tube headers you will either have to hack up your Magnaflow midpipe or use the midpipe that comes with the headers.
If you hack up your current midpipe you will also not be able to run cars as the headers go in that spot.
I am sure you want cats so your car doesn't smell and keeps it somewhat civilized sounding.
The axleback portion of your Magnaflow #15884 catback will remain intact.

Just order either LGs, Kooks, American racing, or Dynatech Headers with the catted midpipe and sleep easy.

I went with the American Racing Headers 1&3/4" with 2&1/2" catted midpipe.

Thanks! I was afraid of that. I should have done better planning and bought the headers before the exhaust.

I am sure you can sell the x-pipe to somebody who bought the Magnaflow axle back only.

Trust me, do it and never look back.

I just got back from picking my son up at a party and the sounds are INTOXICATING to say the least!
