BULLETS with PRT ??

I've asked about this a few times as well and no one can seem to give an answer. It'd sure be nice to know, though... if you could get Bullet volume at WOT with a little less noise/drone at cruise with the PRT section installed.... anyone???

To my knowlege B&B doesn't make the PRT system for the C6. They make the mild Rt66 system and the agressive Bullets. I had the PRTs on my C5 and loved the sound. It was a good compromise.
I've got the Rt 66 on my C6 and with CAI, longtubes, and high flow cats, they sound quite nice.
IMO the Rt66 are too mild as a cat back replacement alone.

The PRT is an exhaust center section made by B&B that replaces the stock H pipe in a cat back system. It is essentially two resonators in a housing with a H pipe type crossover. The purpose is to reduce the resonance of the louder exhaust system in the cabin of the car.
B&B does make the PRT for the C6. I have one on my '06 with Route 66mufflers, and it sounds real good to me. Much better than the factory mufflers, but not extremely loud.

I called one of the forum vendors today and asked about the Bullets with the PRT midsection and was told that the PRT option was no longer available and was not even being produced by B&B because it "didn't sound good".
I called B&B and they laughed.
