Where did you find this shroud for $150?
The one that jklarkpimp purchased is the only one that they make for the C6. When you look at the pictures on Vararam's website they all have the same lower section only in some pictures you can't see it because it is below the shroud. Look at the second picture I posted to get an ide of how it works. http://www.vararam.com/sc1lg4.html http://www.vararam.com/sc1lg2.html
Good job BRETT, you are totally correct on this one. The Vararam intake the PIMP bought is the bottom feeding intake unit. I saw the "simple bolt on" Vararam unit with an optional bottom feeding attachment for $150 more on a Corvette parts catalog while searching the web. It MUST have been the older model before Vararam incorporated it as a one piece unit. I like this one piece unit best but you have to cut the shroud, some people like myself dont really want to do that.
if you want the vararam just get it for 350 like i did put it on the MC and then pay an hour of labor at a trusted good shop and get them to do the stupid cutting. i mean these guys said it really made them faster...........want to go fast

Your right on that one Sir Pimp-A-Lot, that would be the best way to go. I may just do it! In fact "East Coast Corvettes" sells it on sale for $359 brand new.
Pimp, how much is shipping from your on line store (name withheld )

Pimp, are you going to post some pics after you install the Vararam? Maybe a pic of the entire side of your car......maybe one from the rear of the car too......you know, to show off the intake from all angles.
yea im gonna make another post after 1 more mod, its a new exterior mod havent seen anyone do yet, i dont think it will create such a back lash i need to get a new ligenfelter sticker thx for the support you know if i was gonna spend 1500-2k i almost would rather do the cams then the rear fenders to me it looks fine.....love the rear fenders though

I have to say I HATED the giant LIGENFELTER sticker and Z06 stickers (thank goodness you removed them) because thats not what you have. Its like wearing and old 1980's pair of Levis and sewing a CK or EXPRESS patch on the back. BUT the rest of your C6 looks great. I love the new rims and those night pics are some of the coolest I have ever seen. Seriously, weather someone likes the look of your car or not they have to admit the pictures were AWESOME!
thx for the support its funny you were the only one that gave me a compliment on them on CF they look great at night with that light, i love those pics, dont worry no more stickers for me...........im glad someone appreciates a nice pic of a vette

Your very welcome Sir "Pimp-A-Lot" I just call em as I see em. I truly loved the photos! Not only were they beautiful they were different from every other pic posted on that thread. I am very dissappointed that others could not appreciate them.
