Default brake sound question

I just installed Beaer +2 2 piece rotors front and rear with new ceramic/metalic pads. I seated them per Baer instuctions. I notice I can hear the pads engage the rotors during slow rolling stops which I never heard on the stock set up. The car breaks fine, no pulsing, no pull to one side, no chatter, no squeal etc. just a the last few yards of a stop I can hear the pads. If the top is down or the air on, then I cannot hear it. Is this normal with this set up or did I do something wrong?? I am figuring the larger rotors(drilled/slotted with the new pads(that dust less)) are what I am hearing and it is normal.
Thanks for any input.

I would call Beaer and ask them. Maybe you need to add shims to the pads. They could be moving in the caliper guide causing the noise and not the engaging noise that it sounds like. You could take a wheel off and see if something looks or feels loose. Good luck.

Called Baer-they said it sounds like the pads and should go to OE pads and live with the dust

Called Performance Friction the makers of the pads and they said drilled slotted rotors are always a bit louder than non drilled slotted rotors.

So rotor guys point to pad guys and pad guys point to rotor guys.
