Default New best 1/4

Bone stock the car ran a 12.75 @109

With the e addition of a vararam sc and tune I have run my best of 12.483 @112.78 w/1.969 60ft. It performed just as advertised

I am stoked. I would love to break into the 11's with header and dr.

Great run!

You can't argue with those results either.

Awesome run for an A4. Nice trap speed also. Once again, the VaraRam works.

I doubt if the vararam added that much.He gained 3 tenths from the vr and tune.Im sure the tuning was most of that gain.I gained 23rwhp from tune alone.Nice numbers.

All I really had done to the car with the tune was reduce torque management, firm up the shifts and have fuel up top to compensate for the Vararam. I dynoed 346 rwhp. The CAI wouldnt have shown but minimal gains given it needs to be up to speed. I also forgot to mention temperature and humidity were higher on this run than my 12.75 outing.

I also came up to the line with my temps at around 205. I need to get the 160 t-stat

HPE here in houston did the tune. Chuck (owner/tuner) said he nearly got rid of it all. FYI...tune was done with Ls2 edit.

Your car isn't a Z51 right? then unless you special ordered those 3.15 gears, All base model 2005 A4's come w/2.73's.

I'm very curious what you actually have thanks in advance for the response. I have the same car, but checked w/dealer about the diff & was corrected that I have the crummy 2.73's

Correct, A4 didn't come with 3.15, that was a perf axle upgrade. Had it on my last vert.
