The DVD player which came with my GPS and Radio player, from the factory. My car has the abillity to play DVD's, but only while in park. This does not make sense because who would sit there and watch a movie in their car for 3 hours?
The Nav from GM will not play a DVD unless you remove it and send it out to have a mod done for input jacks, install a DVD (sep item) that will now connect to the Nav inputs from that mod and get a FM modulator so you can select a specific freq so you can hear it. That is the only way or remove the entire system and install an after market DVD/Nav. Totaol conversion cost about $800 if you do the rest yourself after the Nav unit mod is sent back to you.
