I'm looking at a head and cam install most likely the AFR's and not sure of the cam. Want some bang for my buck but driveable. Should be able to gain 50-70Hp correct? What cost am I looking at for the install by a pro with a tune (I think like $5000) and what would be a good combination for all you that have done this. Would I be better off port/polish the stock heads and a cam so I dont have extra heads laying around. Thanks to any that provide info to make a good decision.
I think this will do it from my research a nice 224/228/581/588/114LSA cam, ET 215 heads, FAST 90 manifold, and tunning. That should net me 70hp, thanks for all the info out there.

I would also get headers to move all that new air velocity...stock headers will be a huge missing piece to what you are wanting to do...after headers and everything you just mentioned you will be around 440-460rwhp on a dyno...enjoy...be carefull when its wet on the road...

That is a very popular and streetable cam but you'll get a lot more power increase than 70, especially with headers. With the headers and the rest of this you might be up 100 or more.
