shifter install

Do you have to take out the center console to install a new shifter assembly ?
or will it install from above

You have to remove it. No big deal just go slow and be careful with plugs for the seat heaters, etc. The shifter itself takes 10 mins to change out.

I paid

I paid $90 to have mine installed where I bought the shifter. Took them 1 hour. Worth the peace of mind to me.....

Probably one of the easier DIY mods to do.

Then again, I've had my console out so many times for my stereo mods, I have it out on the garage floor in less than 10 minutes...
