Default PCV valve?

Does anybody know if the C6 has a PCV valve? I've been thru the owners manual and the shop manual and there is nothing showing for a PCV. No replacement #'s, no location, no service intervals.

Looking under the hood I can find a breather pipe from the pass. side valve cover to the intake before the throttle body but there doesn't appear to be a PCV on that line. The only other car I'm familiar with has a PCV between the valve cover (or cam cover) and the intake manifold thats used along with a make up air pipe from the valve cover (or cam cover) to the intake after the throttle body.

The LS2 motors have something simular to the 2001-2004 Z06's. the PCV system is internal with an oil seperator in the lifter valley. Then you can see a small hose from the lifter valley cover to the intake manifold. If your looking to put a catch can someplace like you've seen on a forun thread; You need to put it there, not in the hose leading from the valve cover to the intake hose connecting the air filter to the TB. That's just a breather hose. I asked Andy Green @ A&A corvette about it, and he said If were his car he wouldn't bother. Yea I know those of you including myself who've removed the manifold have seen the oil in the runners and the intake ports of the heads; have thought about putting a catch can in to trap the oil getting by the seperator. I guess if I get real **** about it, I will put one in myself. Jury is still out.
I'm sure the GM engineers who designed this motor know of it. If they don't think it's a big deal, I guess I don't: I think anyway.

andreas g.; So, no PCV valve? Nothing that needs to be serviced or replaced?

Blowby gases must flow constantly from the valley cover to the intake behind the throttle body.

2 catch cans needed as oil spillover occurrs both ways, believe me.

Finally, no service needed. Just the usual mods.....
