Bitten by the Column Lock Monster......Help
My car was recently in for the column lock recall and they did the quick fix on it. They installed the K-Harness K 2.195. It has been 3 weeks and the "Pull key wait 10-seconds" has shown up.
The column is locked with the key out and unlocks with the key in. I have researched this forum and looks like I should just go ahead and install the CLB myself.I know where to get one and I would like some advice as to the installation.
Are the instructions that come with the CLB good? Will I recognize the K harness when I remove the panel under the steering wheel? Is there anything I should be extra careful with?
