Tapping sound
I have andys blower kit on my c6 and lately ive had this tapping sound when the car is cold, the car runs fine, hits boost good pulls hard ect im wondering is it something internal? its a constant tap when im driving normal and goes faster under higher rpm ect. any suggestions maybe its just something rubbing?

I had a similar sound in my c5 after a cam install.The sound went away after warm up.It was that silver thing with the round ball on top,I forget what it's called,but there's a bunch of them in the motor!

Take it to somebody who you can trust and get an opinion. Taps can come from all over and it difficult to diagnose on the internet. Can be almost anything from a bad lifter to a wrist pin. Key is to have it checked cause if it is something that could let go, and does, you will be paying more later than now. I had a lifter go and its not pretty. Could be something completely stupid its just hard to tell.

I had an LS1 with a supercharger(blower) and got that sound once, took it in and it was the impeller in the s/c coming apart. Sent it off to manufacturer and got it replaced, no more noise. Had I waited, could've destroyed the motor had parts made it through the intake.
