Default Passenger Door Problem

Just wanted to see if anyone has had a problem with the passenger door outside touch pad becoming inoperative. I dropped my 05 Coupe off at the dealer on Monday for the repair. They called late Monday afternoon and said that the touch pad was bad and had to be replaced. The new part won't make it there until today. Dealer called this afternoon and stated that touch pad did not fix the problem. They now say it must be some control module inside the door. Once again part will not arrive until Friday now. I really like my dealer service department and they have been great so far. But that being said, I am getting a little concerned they are out to lunch on this one. Any suggestions? (Shopdog) I hope you see this one and chime in. Thanks for reading and providing any suggestions.

Each door has its own individual antenna. It is possible that the passenger antenna is faulty and the door is not unlocking.

So far the dealer still thinks it is the control module inside the door. I will ask them tomorrow about the antenna. Thanks for the input.
