Default Rotors

I have the z51 and have some new wheels on the way and I want to eliminate the rust issue.

I DONT want to zinc plate what I have but want to replace the rotors all together while keeping my stock caliper/pads.

Any good ideas? Whats the latest and greatest, slotted only, holes, .....

Many thanks

I've got Baers also, and they're great!

Butt....here's a thread in the Z06 section that's got some really neat looking rotors. I guess they probably have sizes to fit your Z51.

So, are they Zinc plated? WHat I am after is better rotors WITHOUT the rust after a wash.

I am a waxer but a lttle bit of a racer.

They are zinc washed with stainless hardware and anodized aluminum centers. There is no rust on mine yet,and I don't expect any.And they look awesome!

Many thanks gentleman.

Which rotor did you go with, the Eradispeed or the Aluminum and did you use Bears pads, OEM, track models, etc...

Your input is really helping me.

I have the Eradispeed "+2" 2piece rotors, drilled and slotted-13" front and 14" rear,(they are available from Baer in plain or slotted only,as well)which looks great with the 18/19" wheel sizes on the C6.I chose the AC/Delco ceramic pads because of their very low and light colored dust, but I don't race my car. They feel just like the factory pads at the pedal and in normal stopping, and most who have commented on them before me have had a similar experience.I got the rotors from our Forum sponsoring vendor PYFC,and they got them to me very quickly and at a very good price, although other Forum vendors offer them competitively priced as well. You may want to try Ed@ TKO for a price. PM me if you want me to send you some pictures via email(I haven't learned how to insert them yet in my posts with my MAC G5 yet).
