I see in your profile that you have a 2005 C6 - me too. GM has come out in the last few months with a new "flash" for the PCM. I'm not sure what exactly it does, but it may be an attempt to solve some of the DBS problems. I have never got my PCM re-flashed, and you probably haven't either.

I have a Predator, but mine is almost a year old. It has older software that recognizes the early GM flash of the PCM.

The new Predators are apparently shipping with software that only can talk with a PCM that has the new GM flash. I think you may have to take your car to the dealer and have them flash your PCM with the latest up-to-date version of PCM software. I think I've read that if you tell them you're having problems with your battery running down that they'll flash it for you, otherwise they're reluctant to do it if you don't have any problems.

The other possibility is to get the older Predator software that will work with your PCM. You need a serial/USB cable (unless your computer still has a 9-pin serial port), and if you don't have a laptop you'll need a power supply to power up your Predator in the house.

Best bet is to get your PCM flashed with the new version. At least that is what I believe you are experiencing - your Predator needs to see a newer version of the PCM software to communicate with it.

Good luck!
