Maybe a chunck of ice on the inside of the rim. One of the benefits of living in Nova Scotia.
Years ago, I had a friend that actually had to much moisture inside the tire. The water would settle to the low spot on the inside the tire while parked, and freeze over night. I never understood how the water got inside the tire/wheel assembly.

Car is away for the winter, but the wheel shake started before the cold temperatures, so I am pretty sure it is not ice.
